UDI - Universal Design for Learning and 3-tiered approach

These two have recently come into the market and some leaders love to use this jargon to confuse teachers. Let's not get nervous and break it down keeping 3 pointers in mind: What, How to use, and what benefit to students.

These frameworks are to enhance the language program and to reach out to all types of learners. At times you are asked to explain the framework, just to check if you know what they are and if you can use it in your planning. OR at times while you are answering about structured literacy, you can integrate your talk using these frameworks to impress the interviewer.
